HYPERSNAP COPY AND PASTE NOT WORKING WINDOWS 10 KEYGEN
I could probably delete this question, but Karan's suggestion to use Greenshot may prove very useful in an indirect way, and I believe it may help others as well. The problem lies elsewhere, perhaps with the script itself.
It turns out that this question is not even valid as it is stated, because I have discovered that the clipboard contents do not change when closing Firefox, even when the AHK script is triggered as described. When this new image data is detected in the clipboard, the script searches the Hypersnap save folder and renames the new screenshot image. The image should appear in that other program. MS Word, and choose Edit / Paste from its menu. I have tried many things, and so far the only way I can get Autohotkey to detect when a new screenshot is taken is by setting Hypersnap to put a copy of the image in the clipboard and have Autohotkey detect that. Click OK next, then if you have some image opened or captured, click 'Copy' button, then open another program that can accept images pasted into it, e.g. Therefore, I use Autohotkey to rename the image after it is saved. However, it does not offer the naming scheme I want. You see, I have Hypersnap save each screenshot I take. Does anybody have an explanation?Įxtra info: As for the purpose of the script itself, it is designed to work with the Hypersnap software. To open it on Windows 10, right-click the Start button (or press Windows+X). When I close Firefox, the script gets triggered. Click the menu button, click help and select Troubleshooting Information. The entire image is copied to the clipboard, unless you mark a region with the Select area tool, which specifies that only that region will be copied.
I have an Autohotkey script that gets triggered whenever image data (not text or other data types) is copied to the clipboard. Copy Copies the selected region of the current image into the clipboard, leaving it as is in the HyperSnap window.
